Maricopa County School Superintendent Donates Surplus Technology to Teachers

MCESA has asked the County Board of Supervisors to exempt the agency from the surplus policy through December 2018. The intent is to streamline the donation process by avoiding a vote every time the agency wants to donate supplies. Read news story here.

Maricopa County Education Service Agency (MCESA) has secured a multi-million dollar grant from the US Department of Education. MCESA, along with Arizona SciTech, Intel, and Arizona Science Center are leading a STEM Community of Practice as part of a STEM ecosystem. A Community of Practice is a group of cross-stakeholder teams that help each other, share information, build relationships and learn from one another. Teams then leverage their collective existing knowledge to design innovative solutions to the problems and challenges they have identified. View Press Release.
