STEM TEACHING RESOURCES
Students who see themselves as innovators are more likely to pursue and persist in higher-level courses. Our programs combine inspirational role models with resources for teachers to amplify their content.
The following are programs and tools that support one another or stand alone for an exceptional student learning experience.

STEM Resource Center
The STEM Resouce Center is filled with seemingly random items, but for creative educators, it is a treasure trove of instructional possibilities!
At the STEM Resource Center, teachers have the opportunity to collaborate with other STEM instructors and collect resources donated by Amazon and local businesses to use in potential STEM projects. Sessions are by appointment only and are dependent on the number of donations received. Therefore, there is no guarantee of when or how many sessions will be available each semester. Click “Receive Updates” to be notified by e-mail as soon as sessions are added.
Solve It STEM Challenges
Solve It STEM Challenges feature STEM educators posing real-world challenges for students to solve using the Engineering Design Process.

STEM Immersion Guide
The Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent collaborated with Arizona STEM Network on the research, design, and implementation model for the STEM Immersion Guide in individual schools and throughout school districts. It is written as an overarching framework to help chart a course for integrating STEM education in individual schools and through school districts.
The STEM Immersion Guide contains key design considerations specific to the categories of leading, teaching, learning, evaluating, budgeting, and sustaining within each of the four different STEM school models:
