Dear Educators/Parents: Thank you for taking the time to use our resources. Use these questions as a starting point to help your students develop understanding of todays topic. Please keep in mind that answers will vary based on your student's grade level. Remember the most important part of learning is having our students experience productive struggle as they develop their own understanding based on their research and prior knowledge.
Pre-Lesson Questions:
- Select one organism that you are interested in as you take the virtual tour of Odysea Aquarium.
- Write down everything that you know about this organism.
- What questions do you have about this organism?
- Research the organism online to find answers to your questions and learn: where it lives (habitat), what it eats (food chain), what unique features(adaptations) it has that allows it to survive in its habitat.
Post Lesson Question:
Create a short advertisement to promote conservation for the organism you selected. The advertisement can be created using a poster, video/snap/tiktok, and/or short live skit presented to others in your house and/or your community.
