Candidate Packet Info Requests

MCESA provides informational packets to interested candidates. The packets contain valuable information designed to guide both new candidates and incumbents through the process of becoming a governing board member. We expect this year's packets to be available beginning in late January. Governing Board Elections occur in even numbered years (i.e. 2018). Click Here to request a packet.

Statements of Organization and Threshold Exemption Statements (Campaign Finance)

A Political Committee Statement of Organization must be filed with either the Maricopa County Elections Department or the Maricopa County Education Service Agency (MCESA) once a candidate’s committee has reach a combined total of $1,100 in contributions and expenses. This includes the use of the candidate’s own monies. Campaign Finance forms are included in the candidate packet and are also available for download online at http://recorder.maricopa.gov/elections/candidatecampaigninfo.aspx. Candidates are able to gather petition signatures without forming a committee.
